Job Summary

The National Engagement Strategies (NES) is an approach to strengthening coordination of actions of ILC members on land governance. It consists of strengthening and supporting a multi-stakeholder platform that defines country priorities for promoting people-centred land governance. The platform defines country strategy and multi-year action plans to address the priorities set out in the country strategy, in a coordinated and synergic manner, and involving other relevant land actors in Kenya. The NES Facilitator has the overall duty of leading a well coordinated and effective implementation of activities and the facilitation of the multi-stakeholder platform - in terms of coordination, knowledge sharing, strengthening of existing partnerships and creation of new ones, and opening up of new spaces for dialogue. This role also includes general management and coordination of the activities, as well as communication and network facilitation.
